The 2013 Masters is now in the books and we couldn’t have asked for a more thrilling finish. With the rain pouring at Augusta, Angel Cabrera and Adam Scott took it down to the wire and gave everyone the nail biting finish everyone was looking for. But for the rest of the field, the day ended at the 17th hole and their weekend left them out in the cold without a green jacket.

Tiger Woods finished 5-under after shooting a 70 on Sunday which placed him in fourth with Marc Leishman and Brandt Snedeker, both of whom who at times tis weekend shared a piece of the lead. Sergio Garcia lead after the first day of the tournament but finished with a 3-under after shooting a 2-under on Sunday.

One of the most interesting stories this weekend belonged to 14-year old Tianlang Guan, who barely made the cut on Friday. But Guan made it into the weekend and made history in doing so, becoming the youngest player ever to qualify for weekend play at Augusta. But the shine was quickly worn off and Guan fell hard on Sunday, shooting a 75 and finishing 12-over par.

Last year’s winner Bubba Watson also struggled throughout the weekend, but he also managed to make the cut despite a poor start. He finished in far less amazing fashion than he did last year, as he posted a 7-over.

The weekend at Augusta was wet, it was windy and overall miserable from an aesthetic standpoint. But despite the ugliness of the weather, we were gifted with one of the most memorable finishes to The Masters and it was a weekend that left fans hungry for more golf.
