Delaware Blue Hens star Elena Delle Donne has become the second player drafted in the 2013 WNBA Draft. The Chicago Sky made their decision shortly after the Phoenix Mercury selected Baylor star center Brittney Griner. Delle Donne is an incredible scorer that will look to burst on the scene and light up the box score at the next level.
There are concerns about whether or not Delle Donne’s numbers were inflated due to weaker competition at the college level, but the Sky were not scared off by her mid-level competition.
Delle Done is an incredible spot up shooter and her picture perfect technique translates very well to success in the pros.
