The 2013 NFL Draft class features three top-tier offensive tackles — Texas A&M’s Luke Joeckel, Central Michigan’s Eric Fisher and Oklahoma’s Lane Johnson — are expected to be off of the board early in next week’s draft. While there has been continued speculation as to where the offensive tackle prospects will be slotted, we appear to be getting a clearer picture as the draft draws nearer.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter:
Here comes OT run. Three OTs – Luke Joeckel, Eric Fisher, Lane Johnson – will be off board in first seven picks. And maybe sooner.

The Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions and Arizona Cardinals are the most likely teams to select an offensive tackle, but you can never rule out a team like the Miami Dolphins or San Diego Chargers leaping up to claim a guy they covet.
If the top three tackles come off of the board in the first seven picks, then DJ Fluker will go earlier than anticipated and players like Menelik Watson and Terron Armstead could leap into the first-round discussion earlier than we had all thought.
This will all become clearer next week, but it looks like a run on tackles is going to start very early.
