The Miami Dolphins have two major holes on their team after losing starting left tackle Jake Long and starting cornerback Sean Smith in free agency, but it looks like they have a plan to address both of those situations within the next week.
Reports surfaced yesterday that the Dolphins are interested in Kansas City Chiefs offensive tackle Branden Albert. If the team was able to pull the trigger on that trade and part with a second-round pick for the Chiefs franchise player, they would have a lot of freedom with their first-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.
One of those options would be looking at Alabama cornerback Dee Milliner, who the team is reportedly very high on, according to CBS Sports NFL insider Jason La Canfora.
If the Dolphins are really interested in Milliner, they could be out of luck when they are on the clock, because the Cleveland Browns are also very interested in the former Crimson Tide star.
We will find out exactly what the Dolphins plans are one week from today, but that won’t stop the speculation leading up to the draft.
