NFL Draft 2013: EJ Manuel Gaining Steam As No. 2 Ranked Quarterback

Florida State signal-caller EJ Manuel is the hottest quarterback prospect at just the right time. Manuel is a versatile signal-caller who has been impressing teams throughout the interview process and he is using that momentum to climb up the draft boards.

But just how high could Manuel go? There is buzz that he will be the second quarterback off the board.

Per Dan Pompei of the National Football Post, NFL front offices are falling in love with the former Seminole. He went on to write that “there is a feeling in some front offices” Manuel will be the second signal-caller drafted.

Manuel began his climb after an impressive showing in the 2013 Senior Bowl. Since then, he has continued to climb.

As crazy as it may seem to some, Manuel could very well be off the board in the top half of round one.

Remember, he accepted an invitation to attend the 2013 NFL Draft live at Radio City Music Hall and his agent knows just how much interest there is in his client.

We are just a few days away from finding out how early Manuel will be drafted, but don’t be too surprised when he is drafted earlier than you had anticipated.
