As the NBA awards begin to pour out, we have learned the winner of the NBA’s Most Improved Player award. It was an easy choice this season and the votes reflected that. Indiana Pacers forward Paul George was the recipient after a breakout performance during his third year in the league.

Per Alex Kennedy of Hoops World:

George received 52 of the 120 first place votes and placed well ahead of his competition.

This season, George averaged 17.4 points, 4.1 assists and 7.6 rebounds per game. The Pacers are currently playing the Atlanta Hawks in the playoffs as they look to contend for an Eastern Conference title.

It was a well-deserved honor for the Pacers forward, and it looks like the league is recognizing one of the bright young stars.
