College Football Playoff: Vote For the New Logo

The BCS is being rebranded and receiving a new name with the upcoming playoffs that will begin in the 2014 season. As you would expect, the new postseason means a new name, and that was announced on Tuesday. Unfortunately, the name lacked in creativity.

Yes, the college football playoffs official new name is College Football Playoff.

It only gets better.

Today, those same creative folks let us all know that we have the ability to vote for the new College Football Playoff logo. After the disappointing name, you shouldn’t have expected an eye-catching or elaborate logo. If you did, you set yourself up for disappointment yet again.

Here are your four very underwhelming options for the new College Football Playoff logo:

After years of screwing up college football rankings, I guess we really shouldn’t be surprised that those same people found a way to ruin the playoffs as much as they could. Thankfully, the new logo and boring name really won’t affect the way the game is played on the field.

    I could do four better ones in five minutes with Fireworks, haha. I guess the first one is the best of the worst though.
