“With the eighth selection in the 2013 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills select: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama.
Despite three from the offensive line (all tackles, however) already taken within the Fansided mock, the top two on the board while on the clock with the eighth pick have to be Warmack and, North Carolina’s guard prospect, Jonathan Cooper.
Both seniors, and starters for the last three years, either would bring instant depth and stability to an oft-hurt Bills’ offensive line.
Warmack appears to posses more power than Cooper off the gate, making him a better fit for the Bills’ potent running game.
The only problem with this selection is the fact that it is in no way fan friendly. With every quarterback and wide receiver still on the board, the pick will certainly be boo’ed by the Bills’ faithful live on the scene.
To make matters worse, it has been sixteen years since a guard has been selected within the draft’s top ten, and only thirteen have been since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970.
It would not be a surprise if the Bills teased a few teams into a bidding war for, the still available, Geno Smith if the draft were to follow this mock; however, no other Fansided writer was willing to play ball. This would bring in more picks, and the option to select a different quarterback (Ryan Nassib, Syracuse) later in the draft.”

1. Kansas City Chiefs — Eric Fisher, offensive tackle, Central Michigan
2. Jacksonville Jaguars — Dion Jordan, defensive end, Oregon
3. Oakland Raiders — Sharrif Floyd, defensive tackle, Florida
4. Philadelphia Eagles — Luke Joeckel, offensive tackle, Texas A&M
5. Detroit Lions — Ezekiel Ansah, defensive end, BYU
6. Cleveland Browns — Dee Milliner, cornerback, Alabama
7. Arizona Cardinals — Lane Johnson, offensive tackle, Oklahoma
8. Buffalo Bills — Chance Warmack, guard, Alabama
