NHL Draft Lottery 2013: Start Time, Live Stream, TV Schedule, and More

While some NHL fans are penciling in when their team plays in the Stanley Cup playoffs, most NHL fans are drying their eyes after a heartbreaking season. But the pain is about to get soothed if every so slowly, as the NHL Draft Lottery is today which means one lucky fanbase will rejoice over the fact that their team has struck gold and won the No. 1 pick in this year’s Entry Draft.

In years past, only the bottom five teams in the league were eligible to move up to the No. 1 spot, as the rule allowed the lottery winner to only move up 4 slots on the draft board. But an NHL rule change has made it so any of the 14 non-playoff teams can win the lottery and move to the top of the draft.
