The Chicago Bears became the first team to sign a draft pick from the 2013 NFL Draft class when they agreed to terms with fifth-round selection Jordan Mills. Not only did the Bears sign one player, but they agreed to terms with another player as well — sixth-round pick Cornelius Washington.

Chicago is often one of the first teams to begin signing their rookie class and this year is no different.

The Bears announced both of the signings on Twitter:

It is never too early to begin signing draft picks, so you can understand why the Bears continue to beat the rest of the league to the jump.

With two of the late-round picks now under contract, it will be interesting to see how quickly the team can sign their early picks.
