The St. Louis Bues were at times the hottest team in hockey this season, and they entered the NHL Playoffs a real threat to be a deep sleeper team. Through their first two games with the defending Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings, they certainly look the part. The Blues head to Los Angeles with the ability to close out the series in just two more games and can actually lose a game and still feel comfortable with where they stand.

Obviously they want to close out the series before having to come back to St. Louis, but that’s something the Kings are going to try and force. The Stanley Cup champions are back up against a wall and this is looking like a very different series than it was when these teams met last year.
