Grizzlies vs. Thunder Final Score: Kevin Durant Lifts Oklahoma City Over Memphis, 93-91

The Oklahoma City Thunder got out to a slow start against the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday afternoon, but that didn’t last long once Thunder star Kevin Durant turned it on and carried his team to a 93-91 victory over the Grizzlies. Without Durant making clutch shots down the stretch, Oklahoma City could have been in serious danger of dropping game one at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Durant finished the game with 35 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists. He becomes the first player in Oklahoma City history to finish a playoff game with such an incredible stat line. He hit the game-winner with just 11 seconds left after Derek Fisher poked the ball away from Mike Conley.

Oklahoma City showed off their resilience and sent a message to the entire Western Conference with their performance.

If you are going to play the Thunder and get the win, you better prepare for a tough battle from beginning to end and be sure that you do whatever it takes to slow down Durant.
