The Miami Dolphins have been searching for talent at offensive tackle since the departure of Jake Long in free agency and they may have finally found their man. According to agent Chad Speck, the Dolphins will be signing his client — right tackle Tyson Clabo.

By signing with the Dolphins we can all finally move on from the small chances that remained for a possible Dolphins – Kansas City Chiefs trade for Branden Albert. The move also guarantees last year’s second-round selection Jonathan Martin will move from the right side to the left side.

It will be an interesting move for the Dolphins and could really hurt them in the long run, but they put a lot of faith in Martin and he will now get his chance to reward the Dolphins with his play at left tackle.

Quarterback Ryan Tannehill certainly has all of the new weapons at wide receiver, but the real story will be whether or not his line gives him the necessary protection to find open targets.
