We’re now entering the second week of the NHL Playoffs and we’ve got some series’ looking like they’re going to be wrapped up soon. In the Eastern Conference, the Boston Bruins are looking get ahead in a series against the Maple Leafs, despite some poor play in Game 2. The Leafs story surrounds their goaltending and so far the verdict is not in.

Speaking of goaltending, Henrik Lundqvist is dying to get some help from his offense in New York. Despite turning some excellent performances between the pipes, Lundqvist has gotten almost no run support from the Rangers offense and it’s killing New York’s chances of moving on. Over in the West, the Kings are in a similar position with Jonathan Quick, who could really use some production from his offense, particularly to avoid overtime situations.

The Ducks are in a different situation in Detroit as Jonas Hiller looks to have gotten his footing after a shutout win in Game 3 and is looking to get out of Detroit with a 3-1 lead and close out the Red Wings as quickly as possible.
