James Neal, Brooks Orpik Expected to Return to Penguins Lineup Tonight

The Pittsburgh Penguins currently hold a 2-1 lead over the New York Islanders and they may receive a huge boost for tonight’s Game 4. Forward James Neal and defenseman Brooks Orpik are expected to return to the Pens lineup tonight.

Per NHL.com:

Neal and Orpik were full participants at the morning skate, and Neal put in work on the club’s top power-play unit. Nine of his 21 goals during the regular season came via the man-advantage. Orpik joined Paul Martin, his usual defense partner, during rushes at the morning skate, which would suggest he’s ready to go.

Neal was injured in Game 1 of the series, while Orpik has not played in a game since April 23. Both of their returns will be very welcomed. Neal is expected to join Evgeni Malkin and Jarome Iginla on the second-line.

The Pens and Islanders drop the puck at 7 p.m. ET at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
