The LSU Tigers put together another impressive recruiting class in 2013 and one of those players was four-star cornerback Jeryl Brazil. Not only is Brazil a standout football player at Loranger High School in Louisiana, but he is a star track athlete that has winning titles throughout his senior year.

In his latest race, the 5-foot-10, 180-pound commit competed in the 3A 100-meter dash. As you would expect from a player who reportedly has 4.32 40-yard dash speed, Brazil ran away with the title and torched the field.

If he can translate this type of speed to the college field, he should have no trouble keeping up with wide receiver in the Southeastern Conference. He is certainly athletic enough to make an impact.

Here is video of Brazil smoking the field to win the 3A 100 meter dash title:

That is SEC speed, folks.

We can see exactly why Les Miles and company are excited about bringing this young man on to the team. Now, we just have to wait and see how soon he can make his impact on the field.
