Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is a star. There is no denying that. On the football field, he is as good as it gets and now he is attempting to strengthen his acting chops with some off-field endeavors. Most recently, Rodgers made an appearance on one of the final shows of the hit TV show “The Office.”
Rodgers played the role of himself and served as a judge on a vocal competition show — because there are never enough of those on TV these days. Rodgers was a judge alongside Kelly Rowland and former American Idol runner-up Clay Aiken as the one and only Andy Bernard tried to make it on to the show.
The role didn’t require much acting, but it was still cool to see Rodgers on the television as “The Office” comes to an end. What could have made the scene better is if Rodgers himself was playing the role of contestent (but, hey, at least we didn’t have to suffer through another “Discount Double-check).
