It really is no surprise, but the news is now official. Chicago Bulls injured (?) point guard Derrick Rose will once again choose his gator skin shoes and Armani suits over his Adidas kicks and Bulls uniform for Game 3 of the team’s series against the Miami Heat. Chicago sure could use an emotional boost after their embarrassing loss to the Heat in Game 2, but that won’t be coming from Rose.

Really, I don’t think there is anyone who actually believes Rose will come back at any point this season. If he was going to do that, he would have returned once he was cleared by doctors instead.

At this point, it makes no sense for Rose to return — especially in a series that has been this physical.

The injury plagued Bulls will have to dig deep and find a way to show some fight in Game 3 or else they will risk being run off of their home court.  They were able to do just that in round one, but against a team as great as the Heat id seems highly unlikely.

For the Bulls, it looks like their magic is running out. It’s too bad their star player never suited up when he was able to give them a better shot.
