Thanks to the Chicago Blackhawks wrapping up their series against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday night, there will be just one game on the NHL Playoff schedule for Saturday – - Game 6 of the Pittsburgh Penguins vs. New York Islanders Eastern Conference quarterfinal. The NHL has now announced the details of the Penguins vs. Islanders Game 6.

Pittsburgh and the Islanders will face off at 7:00 p.m. ET at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York.

The game will air on NBC Sports Network.

If Pittsburgh can come out on top Saturday night, the series will be wrapped up and the Pens will advance to the semifinals in the Eastern Conference. If New York can pull off the win to extend their postseason lives, the series will be finished on Sunday, but the NHL has yet to announce details for that potential game.

Will the Pens be able to close out the Islanders in Game 6 or are we heading to a Game 7? Sound off in the comments section and share your thoughts.
