Knicks vs. Pacers: J.R. Smith Questionable For Game 3 With Illness

New York Knicks shooting guard J.R. Smith is officially questionable for the team’s Game 3 match up against the Indiana Pacers on Saturday because of an illness. Smith was not present for the team’s morning shootaround, and the team said they were unsure if the sixth man would be able to give it a go tonight.

Smith is currently in a major shooting slump, after missing  23 of 30 shots in the first two games of the series.

For a player like Smith, the only way to work your way out of the slump is to keep shooting, but he will be unable to do that if the injury is too much.

If Smith isn’t able to take the court in Game 3, it could be Iman Shumpert’s time to shine.

The Knicks and Pacers tip off at 8:00 p.m. ET at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. The series is currently tied 1-1.
