Derrick Rose, Kirk Hinrich, Luol Deng Out For Game 5 vs. Heat

The injured Chicago Bulls will once again be without a number of their top players as they face off against the Miami Heat in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. Chicago has been plagued by injuries all season long and they will need to pull out a miracle if they hope to extend their season past tonight. As expected, Derrick Rose, Kirk Hinrich and Luol Deng will miss the game.

Deng is not even with the team, according to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune.

The only good news from all of the players being ruled out is that this may be the final time this season that we have to write Derrick Rose will not be returning.

If there is any positive for the Bulls, it is that Miami star Dwyane Wade may not play in the game. That shouldn’t matter and you would have to believe the Heat will once again run right through Chicago.
