Belmont Stakes 2013: Date, Start Time, Location and More

Oxbow was able to ruin Orb’s chances at accomplishing the first Triple Crown since Affirmed last won in 1978, but there will still be a little interest leading up to the Belmont Stakes just a few weeks from now. The Belmont Stakes at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York is the third and final leg of the Triple Crown.

NBC will begin coverage from Belmont at 5 p.m. ET on June 8, with the race set to post at 6:40 p.m. ET.

The field of contenders for the Belmont Stakes has not yet been announced, but we can expect official word to begin trickling out with the conclusion of the Preakness.
