It is becoming clearer by the day that Cleveland Browns tight end Jordan Cameron is poised for a breakout season in new head coach Rob Chudzinski’s offense. His skill set is perfectly suited to fill the receiving tight end role in Chud’s offense, so it comes as no surprise to learn that the Browns have been taking advantage of his athleticism early in OTAs.
According to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Browns “really like Cameron as their starting tight end” and they “plan to throw to him a lot.”
Chudzinski runs a vertical passing game that will allow Cameron to create mismatches running down the seam. This was evident during the OTAs when the team targeted Cameron on a number of deep throws.
Cleveland is going to be a fun team to watch this year and they may have no better receiving option than Cameron.
If you’re a fantasy player, Cameron is one of those tight ends that your friends may pass on for the bigger names but he will be worth adding to your roster.
