The Memphis Grizzlies are one of the hottest and most impressive teams in the NBA Playoffs, but it looks like the players aren’t the only ones that are receiving attention. According to reports, Grizzlies head coach Lionel Hollins is the coaching candidate the Brooklyn Nets are most interested in. Hollins’ contract is set to expire when the team is eliminated from the postseason and then he would be free to meet with the Nets.

Per Gery Woelfel of the Journal Times:

Some NBA officials claim the Nets are honing in on Lionel Hollins, Memphis’ coach whose contract will soon expire. The Nets’ interest in Hollins is hardly surprising, especially considering the terrific job Hollins has done this season.

Scott Skiles is the other name on the Nets short list of coaching candidates, but Hollins is the name to watch.

If he is looking for the biggest deal, it is very likely that Brooklyn will be much more comfortable shelling out the millions of dollars he would require than the Grizzlies.
