Just after announcing he’ll leave Marquette to attend a school near his hometown of Oakland, Juan Anderson, apparently had cold feet about leaving the Golden Eagles, and has announced he’ll head back to the program.

Anderson, entering his junior year next season at Marquette, played moderately well in his two seasons with the program. While he originally wanted to be closer to home, looks like he wants to finish his college career with head coach Buzz Williams. The 6’6″ forward averaged three points, three rebounds and shot 33% from the field.

At Marquette, Anderson didn’t get as much playing time as he hoped for. He played at least 15 minutes in 15 games. He’ll join returnees Davante Gardner, Jamil Wilson, and Chris Otule. Maybe, just maybe Anderson will get more playing time.
