We have spent too much time talking about athletes being arrested over the past few weeks, but we have a positive story thanks to Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant. After learning of the horrible disaster that struck near Oklahoma City on Monday, Durant decided to help out in any way he could and he showed us all that he is a quality person.

From Royce Young of CBS Sports:

This is not something that Durant did because he wanted the attention. This is something that he decided to do because he is a great man. If he wanted to, he could have made an announcement. Instead, the Red Cross came forward with the news.

Durant has always been a class act and he continues to show us that he is not only willing to carry the weight of the franchise on his back, but also able to help out the community by any means possible.

Like Durant, our thoughts and prayers go out to all of the families that were affected by the devastating tornadoes.
