The Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks took the ice today in their Western Conference semifinals series at Joe Louis Arena on Thursday night. Thanks to goals from Daniel Cleary and Jakub Kindl, the Red Wings were able to continue their hot streak and take care of the Blackhawks for the third-straight game this series.

With the win, the Red Wings find themselves just one game away from advancing to the conference finals.

Chicago’s backs are now up against the wall with the series shifting back home.

In order to avoid a disaster, they need to pull off the unthinkable and win the remaining games this series in order to keep their postseason hopes alive. If they can’t find offense and fail to notch a win, they will be forced to watch the remainder of the Stanley Cup Finals from the comfort of their own living rooms.

Chicago and Detroit will face off on Saturday at 8:00 p.m. ET. It’s a must-win for the Blackhawks.
