Kevin Durant Visits With Oklahoma Tornado Victims (Photos)

The devastating tornados that ravaged and destroyed parts of Oklahoma earlier this week still remain painfully fresh in our minds. But most of us can only sit in our homes and hope for the best, that’s simply not enough for Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant who flew to the areas affected and visited with victims on Wednesday.

Thunder beat writer Darnell Mayberry documented Durant’s visit and you can’t help but feel a warm sensation in your heart to know that Durant truly cares about his fans as fellow human beings on the most personal level.

Durant’s visit with victims of the tornado comes just days after he vowed to donate $1 million in relief to help get those affected back on their feet as quickly as possible. It’s clear that Durant truly cares about the community that surrounds the team he plays for and this isn’t the first time he’s shown no hesitation in giving back more than he’s required to.
