It’s tough to stay healthy if you’re Indiana Pacers guard George Hill.
The IUPUI product seems to always be battling some type of nagging injury and today is no different as he’s been diagnosed with a sprained big toe. Thankfully for the Pacers, it’s not expected to keep him out of action come Game 2, which tips off this evening in Miami.
Per Mark Montieth:
George Hill has sprained left big toe, from Game 1. Had it iced after practice. Says he’s OK.
Hill and the Pacers don’t expect the injury to linger, though, it is something to keep an eye on in the case it does flare up or if Hill appears to struggle with movement.
The 26-year-old point guard is currently averaging 14.8 points, 4.6 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.5 steals a game, despite only shooting 39.7% throughout the playoffs.
Hill and the Pacers will attempt to tie up their Eastern Conference Finals matchup with the Miami Heat tonight, with tip scheduled for 8:30 PM EDT.
