Snoop Dogg is now known by his Rastafarian name Snoop Lion, but it looks like his son has an offer to be a Tiger. According to Lyons Yellin of The Times-Picayune, Snoop’s son, wide receiver prospect Cordell Broadus, has picked up an offer from the LSU Tigers. Broadus also has offers from California, Duke, Oregon State, Southern Cal, UCLA, Washington and Tennessee.
There is belief that Broadus is more attracted to the USC Trojans offer, but LSU could be interesting because of Snoop’s relationship with Tigers coach Les Miles.
Snoop Lion has not been afraid to rock LSU jerseys in the public eye before and he even popped up at a Rotary Club meeting with Miles back in 2008. Snoop said he showed up at the event to give his “love and support to Coach Miles.”
While many may think that he is getting offers because of his father, that couldn’t be further from the truth.
Broadus is a four-star wide receiver in the 2015 class and a legitmate on-field talent.
