Although the Los Angeles Clippers and Chris Paul have not hidden their desire to bring David West to California, it appears West himself is more than comfortable where he’s at.

West has already stated his desire to stay in Indiana once the Pacers season concludes, but just to squash any potential rumors, West did so again when he spoke to Chris Tomasson of Fox Sports Florida.

Per Tomasson:

West said he’s concentrating on keeping the Pacers alive in Saturday’s Game 6 in Indiana. But he reiterated Indiana is where he wants to be again next season.

“Yeah,’’ said West, who averaged 17.1 points and 7.7 rebounds during the regular season. “This group is a good group. Solid guys in here. I really enjoy being a part of it.’’

West, who signed a two year, $20 million dollar deal with the Pacers in 2011 is scheduled to hit free agency this Summer if the two sides can’t work out a deal, but if you believe West, it doesn’t sound like they’ll have much issue doing so.
