There have been a lot of changes at the top of the Toronto Raptors organization, but it appears that one change that won’t be taking place is at the head coaching position. New Raptors general manager Massai Ujiri reportedly plans to keep the team’s head coach Dwane Casey in place, but there could be some changes with his coaching staff.

According to the Toronto Sun:

Casey, according to league sources, has already spoken at length with Ujiri and (Raptors CEO Tim) Leiweke and would seem safe from any purge. He has a year left on his contract.

It is going to be a big season for the Raptors and Casey as he looks to get his team back in to the playoff picture.

Things were rought this past season and went far from the way that Toronto had planned, but Casey will get one final chance to show his new boss that he has what it takes to lead this team in the direction they want to be headed.
