Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson has been fighting the “injury-prone” label, and now it seems more fitting than ever. It wasn’t long ago that Richardson said that he wouldn’t be injury prone this season, but now we have learned that he is sidelined until August with a leg injury.
According to reports from ESPN Cleveland, the Browns fear that Richardson could be in danger of suffering a stress fracture.

It is great for the Browns that they are looking towards the future and holding Richardson out of workouts until August, but the team needs to hope that this won’t be a bigger issue. A healthy Richardson means a productive offense for the Browns, so they need to be sure they do anything possible to keep him at 100 percent.
If Richardson is able to fully contribute during the 2013-14 NFL season, the Cleveland Browns could be poised to be one of the breakout teams in the league.
