Chelsea transfer rumors – It’s no secret that Jose Mourinho has made it a point of emphasis to strengthen Chelsea’s front line, and is now bidding on Zenit St Petersburg’s forward Hulk.
According to Mirror, Mourinho has offered the Russian club £35 million for the Brazilian striker. Hulk completed his transfer to Zenit last season, but has had a very difficult year. His contract earned him a huge salary which, among other things, caused disputes within the club, and the 26-year-old forward is looking for a way out.
Zenit are also looking to cut their losses and get out of the failed partnership. As such, Mourinho has apparently made an offer in hopes that Hulk could reestablish himself and get his career back on track.
After missing out on Falcao, Chelsea are rumored to be very interested in Napoli’s Edison Cavani, but the competition for the Uruguayan forward is stiff.
With Fernando Torres being a huge disappointment since arriving at Stamford Bridge and Demba Ba being very injury prone, Hulk could certainly plug in some holes in Chelsea’s squad.
