You know you are in a tough profession when you win Coach of The Year honors and are fired within a months time. The Denver Nugggets did just that today by giving George Karl his walking papers.

On tonight’s live video show the NBA Coaching Carousel is examined. We already know the Los Angeles Clippers have shown interest in a few coaches including Jeff Van Gundy, Lionel Hollins, and Byron Scott. With Karl now being available the landscape might have changed in the Clippers coaching search.

Memphis is also a possible landing spot for Karl, which would mean Hollins would be shown the door.

I am joined by Tim Kelly from Section215.com, Brad Rowen from AtlAllDay.com, and Ricky Keeler from YanksGoYard.com to discuss the number of quality coaches ready for hire in The NBA.

Other topics on the show include

  • MLB’s new PED problem
  • How will we remember Alex Rodriguez and Ryan Braun
  • Teams and Players who have surprised us in 2013
  • NFL News and Notes
