The NBA coaching carousal continues and few have taken more rides on it this Summer than current Indiana Pacers assistant, Brian Shaw.

Shaw, who has been an assistant for both the Los Angeles Lakers and Pacers has been a hot commodity, not only this offseason, but in past offseasons as well despite never landing a head coaching gig. However, that may change as according to USA Today, it appears Shaw is in the lead for the Denver Nuggets head coaching job which was recently vacated by George Karl.

Per Sam Amick of USA Today:

Denver, meanwhile, will focus on Hollins or Indiana Pacers assistant Brian Shaw as possible replacements. There are indications that Shaw is leading that race, as the Nuggets see Shaw as a rising star in the coaching ranks who could help their young team grow.

Shaw is also currently being heavily courted by the Los Angeles Clippers, who have still yet to agree with a coach despite having one of the most desired jobs available this (soon to be) offseason.
