Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant could soon roc la familia. There has been rumors circulating since the Thunder were eliminated from the NBA Playoffs that Durant was ready to leave his current representation in favor of a very popular rapper/business mogul/new agent. According to the rumors, Durant is prepared to sign with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Sports as soon as he is able to.

Liz Mullen of the Sports Businnes Journal shared the report on Friday night:

Of course, Jay-Z has yet to sell his share of the Brooklyn Nets, so he would not be able to represent an NBA player until he would do so.

As for the news that Durant will sign with Roc Nation, it seems like a very strong possibility. Darren Rovell of ESPN reached out the a Roc Nation Sports representative about the likelihood of Durant becoming a client and the rep simply said, “he is not currently a client.”

With names like Geno Smith, Victor Cruz and apparently Kevin Durant preparing to sign with Roc Nation Sports, it is safe to say that Hov is ready to be a real force in the game once he is fully able to represent players.
