In addition to being one of the premier point guards in the NBA, Rajon Rondo of the Boston Celtics is a notoriously good Connect Four player, something he displayed during a match with Redbull’s Sal Masekala and basketball contributor Brian Kamenetzky.

Rondo, who underwent surgery to repair his torn ACL on Valentine’s Day earlier this year has had plenty of time to perfect his already highly skilled craft and not only did he take both Masekala and Kamentzky to task, he made sure to let them know just how badly he dominated them.

Rondo said his skills for the famed “board game” were honed as a youngster and he’s only grown with it as he’s gotten older. He also likened how he compares the way he plays Connect Four to the way he sees the floor during a basketball game, doing his best to understand the oppositions move before he makes his.
