ESPN ‘Expert’ says Texas should start in Top 5

Yes, that Texas. The Texas team that went 9-4 and lost to Oklahoma by 42 points. Apparently, one expert didn’t think much of that and claims they are a Top 5 Team to start the season…in College Football. ESPN College Football account posted this message via twitter:

Now, at the moment, this expert remains unidentified. But whoever it is, should surely have his expert status reviewed. Placing the Longhorns over teams such as Texas A&M, Ohio State, Stanford or even Louisville is simply foolish. I seem to remember this type of blind faith of this program last year before they fail flat on their face.

I won’t fall for it this time. They’ll have to prove it on that field and with a weak schedule, that may be hard to do.
