There is some sad news coming out of NASCAR tonight. During a sprint car race at Bridgeport Speedway in New Jersey, NASCAR driver Jason Leffler was involved in a horrible crash and he later died from the injuries suffered.
Officials say 37-year-old Jason Leffler crashed during a sprint car race at the Bridgeport Speedway in Swedesboro, Gloucester County, New Jersey on Wednesday. Leffler had to be extricated from his vehicle and was taken by medevac to Cooper Trauma Center where he later died from his injuries.
Leffler had been driving the No. 19 Toyota for Humphrey Smith Racing.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Leffler family, his friends, crew and everyone who will be affected by this tragic accident.
Let us hope that NASCAR does something to honor Leffler and show their respects during the next NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.
