Indiana Pacers Say Re-Signing David West Is Top Priority

The Indiana Pacers will have a few important roster decisions this offseason, but none more than re-signing free agent power forward David West, this according to Pacers general manager Kevin Pritchard.

During a recent press conference, Pritchard stated that bringing West back was “priority number one”.

Per the Indiana Pacers twitter:

Pritchard on re-signing David West: “He knows we’re in a great position moving forward. He’s priority number one.”

West should have no shortage of suitors clamoring for his services. One such team hoping to snag him would be the Los Angeles Clippers who’ve been rumored to desire a reunion between he and Chris Paul, but financial issues would most likely cripple that idea before it could every really get started.

Assuming West holds true to his words though, the Pacers and the Xavier product shouldn’t find too many struggles on a return as West has already stated he’d like to return to the Pacers.
