Rob Gronkowski is set to undergo what will hopefully be his final procedure of the offseason. After numerous surgeries on his arm, Gronkowski is now set to go under the knife on Tuesday for back surgery. The Patriots are unsure of the timetable for Gronkowski’s recovery following the back procedure, but according to Gronkowski’s agent Drew Rosenhaus the recovery time should not extend past what he is currently expecting from his most recent arm surgery.

The procedure will be performed by Dr. Robert Watkins.

New England would like to have their star tight end back for the start of the season, but there is no guarantee. If he does get back on the field for Week 1, the Patriots will hope that he is able to stay healthy and not be plagued by the injuries and infections like he has been over the past few months.

We will keep you updated on Gronkowski’s recovery time when new information becomes available following his surgery.
