“Strong Possibility” Milwaukee Brewers Put Ryan Braun On Disabled List

When it rains it pours and for the Milwaukee Brewers, it might seem like a monsoon.

In addition to having an ace in Yovani Gallardo who’s pitching like a fifth starter, slugger Corey Hart out until the All-Star break (if not longer) and slugger Ryan Braun dealing with more performance enhancing drug rumors, the last thing you want to hear is Braun being placed on the disabled list but according to a report, it’s quite likely to happen.

Adam McCalvy suggested this evening that Braun will most likely be placed on the disabled list in the next day or two.

Per McCalvy:

No bueno for Ryan Braun. DL a strong possibility. Details coming to the blog.

Braun has missed the last three games nursing a thumb injury, hoping the time off would improve the pain. Unfortunately though, he’s noticed no change and it appears the best option is to sit down for a few weeks and hope an extended rest will heal the injury.
