When the United States women’s national team takes on South Korea on Saturday night, they will be sporting some special patches to continue honoring the victims of April’s tragic bombing at the Boston Marathon and to raise awareness for the Boston One Fund, which was set up to help all of those who were affected by the tragedy.

On the team’s kits for both the game and warm ups, there will be the traditional Boston Strong ribbon that we have become familiar with.

Another honor will be with the warm ups, that will feature the Boston One Fund in a unique way. The kits appear to have the number on a faux marathon bib, much like runners in the marathon have. It is a cool and personal twist that really connects with the marathon runners, fans and everyone who is sympathizing with the families affected.

Here are the kits and warm ups that will be worn for tonight’s game:

It is great to see everyone continuing to rally around those who most need our support.

The USA and South Korea will take the pitch at Gillette Stadium at 7 p.m. ET. You can watch the game live and online on ESPN3.
