NBA Trade Rumors: Why The Los Angeles Clippers Should Not Trade for Kevin Garnett

When The Los Angeles Clippers fired Vinny Del Negro it was obvious they were looking for a change of philosophy, and to appease point guard Chris Paul.

Recent reports have linked the Clippers with The Boston Celtics trade talks. The Celtics would be willing to release Doc Rivers from his contract, and they would send Kevin Garnett to Los Angeles at least one first round draft pick, DeAndre Jordan, and Eric Bledsoe. The deal has not gone down, since the Clippers do not want to part with Bledsoe.

The team has been rumored to be interested in dealing Bledsoe to their rival Lakers for a sign and trade deal including Dwight Howard.

On the Sunday night version of FanSided Tonite, I argue that Los Angeles would be better served holding on to their young team and bringing in a coach that can take them further than Del Negro was able to.
