A-Rod is scheduled to face live pitching tomorrow for the first time in a while and barring a setback should return in about a months time.
Alex Rodriguez will face live pitchers on Tuesday, Cashman said. I believe that’s for the first time.
With a clubhouse that looks more like a medical ward than an actual professional baseball team, Rodriguez’s return may be more welcomed than it typically would be as the Yankees can use any type of serviceable player they can get right now.
A-Rod, who has been out since last year with a torn labrum and bone impingement has been spotted taking part in a handful of baseball related activities which include hitting off a tee, running the bases and light fielding.
