2013 NBA Finals: Knee of Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade Has Swollen

Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade simply can not catch a break. When his ex-wife isn’t subpoenaing his boss Pat Riley during the middle of the game, the former Marquette star is probably in the training room which has  become a second home to Wade.

The oft-injured star has taken his injuries to a new level this season, not only playing through a nasty bone bruise but also taking the court despite having chronic arthritis in his knee.

Now, according to Wade, he had to leave last night’s Game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals because his knee swelled up.

Per J.A. Adande:

Dwyane Wade said his knee swelled up, needing extra treatment at halftime, which was why he missed start of second half.

Wade said today that the knee is still swollen and causing him significant pain, though, he obviously will play through the pain tomorrow during Game 7. How effective he’ll be though, is yet to be determined.
