The latest development in the investigation in to the death of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd looks to be one of the worst. FOX 25 is reporting that the neighbors of New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez heard gunshots early Monday morning just minutes before Hernandez and two of his friends walked in to his home.

Neighbors heard the gunshots at approximately between 3:00 and 3:00 a.m. ET on Monday according to the report, but they failed to report the noise to police at the time. This comes on top of the news that Hernandez destroyed his home surveillance footage and his cell phone before authorities were able to collect the evidence.

It sure doesn’t look good for Hernandez, who is reportedly going to be arrested in connection to the murder in the near future.

While Hernandez is innocent until proven guilty, the details are beginning to pile up against him and the evidence that has been collected sure is damning. Combine this murder investigation with the lawsuit in Florida where Hernandez is accused of shooting a man in the face, and it would be a surprise if Hernandez did not face discipline from the league.
