Jimmy Fallon is holding down the fort on his show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, before officially taking over for Jay Leno on The Tonight Show, and he continues to give us amazing late night television moments that have us excited for what he can do once he takes over The Tonight Show.

In the most recent epic moment, Fallon received a suggestion during his Suggestion Box segment that had someone asking for rap lyrics to accompany the “Super Mario Brothers” Theme.

Of course Fallon wasn’t going to grab the mic and drop a verse, but he had one very willing person on stage to do just that and it was Black Thought of The Roots. Plenty of people have rapped over the Mario Bros. theme in the past, but we can guarantee that this will be the best version you will ever hear.

Enjoy the greatness and share your thoughts on the video with us in the comments section:
