Miami Heat’s $100,000 Champagne Tab Comped By Club Owner After NBA Finals

When you combine winning an NBA Championship and the nightlife in Miami, you know that you are preparing yourself for an epic celebration. So when the Miami Heat took home the NBA title for the second straight year, they headed to Story Nightclub to enjoy the sweet taste of victory which came at the nice price tag of $100,000.

Of course, being the champions in your hometown has it’s perks, which meant the team didn’t have to pick up the tab after the club owner, David Grutman, decided to take care of the champs.

How do you get to a $100,000? Try 100 bottles of Dom Perignon and 3-liter bottles of champagne.

According to Grutnam, who also owns LIV where the Heat partied last year, the standard 750-milliliter bottles of Dom Perignon sells for $850 each and the club sells 3-liter bottles for $5,000. That can get expensive quick.

“I’m not going to charge the Heat,” Grutman said, via ESPN.

Not only did the Heat have all of their alcohol comped, but they had food delivered to them at the club from Miami restaurant Prime 112.

Life is nice, when you are riding at the top.
